Art From The Heart

Our flagship program Art From The Heart offers both youth and adult courses, workshops and individual classes that offers a transformative journey that combines emotional awareness, coping strategies, effective communication, and conflict resolution skills through the lens of art-making and other forms of art expressions. Art has the power to heal and express what words cannot. Our therapeutic art classes and activities provide an outlet for emotional expression and healing, both for parents and children. These creative endeavors foster self-discovery and emotional growth

Parent Support Group

We understand the unique challenges that single parents face. Our support group, S.A.G. E. offers a safe and nurturing space for single parents to connect, share experiences, and access resources that can make their journey smoother as well as their children's after all, “a happy parent makes a happy child."

Community Partnership & Resources

We understand that no organization can do it all alone. We actively seek partnerships with local community organizations and agencies to provide families with access to a wide range of resources, from legal support to counseling services. Workshops: We conduct workshops that provide safe spaces for individuals to explore their emotions, learn practical skills, and engage in creative activities.

Parenting Education Classes

We believe that informed parenting is the cornerstone of strong families. Our Breakthrough Parenting®  education classes provide valuable guidance and resources to parents, equipping them with effective strategies to navigate the challenges of raising children in changing family dynamics.

Mental Health Training

Family well-being hinges on mental health. We provide QPR Youth Suicide Prevention certification training and Mental Health First Aid certification training for both adults and youth, along with support services, to empower individuals with the tools necessary to prioritize mental wellness and resilience

Children facing divorce, parental incarceration, or loss of a parent undergo Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) that significantly affect their lives. They face an increased risk of academic struggles, joblessness, and engaging in risky health behaviors like smoking and substance abuse.

Research, however, indicates that there are strategies to combat ACEs (RAPHA International).  Some of these include having opportunities to have fun, community traditions and good friends and neighbors.

SITM strives to provide opportunties and education to combat ACEs.  We need your help to be part of this fight. We're seeking your collaboration, whether it's through volunteering, giving, or partnership, your support is crucial.

In just a short little time and through our programs, Stuck In The Middle has impacted many lives, enabling individuals to navigate emotional challenges, develop effective communication skills, and embrace creativity as a pathway to healing.

We invite individuals, volunteers, donors, and partners to join us in our mission of nurturing emotional well-being through creativity. Together, we can create a world where emotional empowerment and healing are accessible to all, regardless of where they are on their journey.

Join us at Stuck In The Middle to make a lasting impact on individuals' lives.
