What We Do
Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to support, empower, and provide high-quality resources to our community in a safe and secure environment. Our success isn’t measured by wealth or profit margin but by the value we provide to those we serve.
Educational Workshops

Whether you attend a parenting skills class, an educational workshops, or other virtual classes, we've designed them to inform, educate, and empower parents to use practical skills, positive techniques, and strategies to engage in healthier relationships with their children and others during and after a separation, divorce, or other adverse life or childhood experiences. Mental health topics such as grief, self-care, trauma, high-conflict co-parenting, and many more mental health topics are facilitated and led by knowledgeable and experienced mental health professionals and people with real life experiences. These workshops and classes encourage families to recognize and obtain the necessary resources and support when navigating major life challenges.
We welcome you to share your expertise and experience. Please click here to become a panelist or guest in one of our upcoming discussions or workshops.
Art Expressions

"Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life." —Pablo Picasso.
Various studies have shown that participating in art expression activities can significantly improve one's mental health by helping to reduce stress, depression, and anxiety. Art expression comes in many forms, such as painting, writing, journaling, drawing, dancing, gardening, crafting, clay sculpting, etc. These activities boost one's mental health and, if coupled with a licensed mental health professional, can be very effective in treating other mental health disorders; thus, art therapy.
Art Therapy is an integrative mental health and human services profession that enriches the lives of individuals, families, and communities through active art-making, creative process, applied psychological theory, and human experience within a psychotherapeutic relationship.
Art therapy, facilitated by a professional art therapist, effectively supports personal and relational treatment goals and community concerns. Art therapy improves cognitive and sensorimotor functions, fosters self-esteem and self-awareness, cultivates emotional resilience, promotes insight, enhances social skills, reduces conflicts and distress, and advances societal and ecological change.
Through art-making, our Art From The Heart program offers similar therapeutic activities used in art therapy. In addition, youth and their parents or caregivers are encouraged to learn multiple techniques to acquire self-healing, self-regulation, coping strategies, and coping skills that will help build and sustain better relationships with and without the support of a therapist or other mental health clinician.

Mind and Body Wellness

Yoga and meditation have become among the most popular exercise routines recommended for self-care, even for children. It helps to reduce stress, builds resilience against adverse childhood experiences, and improves focus, memory, self-esteem, social-emotional learning (SEL), academic performance, classroom behavior, and more.
Youth Empowerment

Sounds like a cliche, but it's true. Youth are our future leaders. Despite their challenging circumstances, we want to help youth develop life coping skills, critical awareness, communication and conflict and resolution skills. Our youth empowerment goal is to encourage them to become resilient, self-sufficient and to use their own talents and skills to lead, teach and advocate not just for themselves but for others as well. We believe by promoting positive youth development and healthy relationships with others, we are helping to develop our future successful leaders.

Scholarships/Financial Assistance

Our goal is to help others as others have helped us. Whether it's providing scholarships to a high school senior or financial assistance to a child or family in therapy, we want to help move youth closer to their self-actualization and beyond their trauma by removing the burden of costs associated with their progress.

Partnerships/Community Outreach

"The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members."
We are committed and will be engaged to partner with businesses, schools, agencies and other community organizations to help meet the needs of our local, state and national initiatives.
